The first work experience for children, combined with play, passion, and love. A life lesson for the future.
Two-phase Project
Phase 1
HARVEST - From September 15 to October 30
In the days leading up to the harvest, one of our team members will visit the class to explain behaviors, methods, and procedures. Parents are also invited to join. Experiencing a complex, intense, and passionate moment together with their children can be fundamental for parent-child relationships. We meet at Via Lavello 19 in Canosa di Puglia at 8:30-9:00 am.
Before starting the harvest, we will enjoy the "fragrance bath" ritual with over 150 varieties of aromatic herbs: children will immerse themselves among these wonderful medicinal plants, starting to get to know them by rubbing them between their little hands… and thus begins the real harvest. We will work together, teachers, parents, and children. For about two hours, we’ll try to fill the tank where the grapes will be pressed.
All barefoot, to the sound of music, we’ll participate in the crushing and pressing of the grapes. We’ll taste the grape juice and then visit the ancient caves (bat watching and “Love Leap”), where the must will be left to mature. At 12:00 pm, unlimited pizza awaits! Baked in a wood-fired oven and prepared by our mothers, we’ll enjoy excellent pizza made with organic ingredients. Games, singing, and dancing will conclude the day, which will end at 1:00 pm.
The wine produced by the children is an Energy Wine. THROUGH this activity, we pour love and energy into the wine, making it unique and vibrant, but above all, emotional.
Phase 2
BOTTLING - From March 10 to May 10
Also in Via Lavello 19, at the Canosa Sotterranea site, on the occasion of Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, or Grandparents' Day, teachers can organize another outing to bottle the wine produced by the children. Each child will follow every step: corking, capping, and labeling, including a photo of the students. Each child will be given the gift of a bottle of Nero di Troia that they personally packaged. A beautiful gift for Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, or Grandparents' Day.
After bottling, we’ll have a break with pizza baked in a wood-fired oven and prepared by our collaborators. In the afternoon, we’ll have a DEMONSTRATION MEETING WITH A MASTER POTTER, who will use his expertise to transform clay into beautiful everyday objects, such as the wine bottles our company produces. Meanwhile, there will be a guided tour led by experts to the archaeological site of "Pietra Caduta." The children will visit some of the 50 tombs that have been carefully cleaned by specialized experts. At 1:00 pm, we’ll wrap up the day with a farewell and a gift for Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, or Grandparents' Day.
