The Emotional Harvest: Education and Values between Tradition and Innovation
The project "The Emotional Harvest" is designed to provide children with a unique first work experience that combines play, passion, and love for nature. Proposed by "The World I Would Like," this initiative allows new generations to immerse themselves in one of the oldest processes of our agricultural tradition, transforming the grape harvest into an educational and growth-oriented moment. By involving teachers, parents, and children, the experience serves as a valuable opportunity to strengthen family bonds and impart values of respect and care for the environment.
First Phase: The Grape Harvest
Children, accompanied by experienced collaborators, begin with a preparation for the grape harvest, exploring the scents and varieties of aromatic herbs to stimulate their senses and connect with nature. During the actual grape harvest, they work alongside their parents and teachers, picking and crushing the grapes in a festive and collaborative atmosphere. Each action becomes an opportunity to learn, savor the fresh juice of the grapes, and discover the beauty of tradition.
Second Phase: Bottling
After the grape harvest, the children gather to participate in the wine bottling process. Each young participant eagerly follows all the stages, from corking to capsule sealing and labeling, personalizing their own bottle. The wine produced thus becomes a tangible memory of this experience, a symbol of the shared commitment and passion. The activity is further enriched with artistic workshops and guided tours. A master potter guides the children in working with clay, transforming the material into objects related to the wine tradition, while visits to nearby archaeological sites allow participants to explore the historical roots of the region, fostering a journey of knowledge and discovery.
An Educational Project for Schools and Families
La Vendemmia Emozionale" si rivolge a scuole, operatori del settore educativo e famiglie, offrendo un percorso formativo che promuove la consapevolezza ambientale, l’amore per la natura e il rispetto per le tradizioni. Grazie al coinvolgimento diretto di bambini, insegnanti e famiglie, il progetto lascia un’impronta significativa nelle vite dei piccoli partecipanti, contribuendo alla formazione di futuri cittadini consapevoli e rispettosi dell’ambiente.
